A warm welcome to all our fabulous TELL2 English Teachers! This year the group consists of English teachers from ten schools in and around the Bentong area. The mentors who will be working closely with the schools, teachers and pupils are Charlotte Lewis from Wales and Evan Eames from the United States.
Charlotte Lewis will be attending SK Sulaiman, SK Tuanku Fatimah, SJKC Khai Mun Pagi, SJKC Perting and SJKT Bentong.
Evan Eames will be working with SJKC Bukit Tinggi, SJKC Ketari, SK Bukit Piatu, SK Janda Baik and SK Sungai Marong.
The TELL2 programme started with a fun, informative and interactive professional development session on phonics. The teachers had the opportunity to see who they would be working with throughout TELL2 as well as the chance to get involved with some useful phonics activities and teaching strategies.
Our first professional development session went really well and the mentors appreciate the interest and participation of the teachers greatly. We have a talented and enthusiastic TELL2 group and it promises to be great year!
